The fall picnic was held Saturday afternoon, September 27. About 30 people including club members, family and friends attended. The weather was warm and clear, with light breezes.
Dave Walker was the chef, providing the venison and beef burgers. As usual, the burgers and potluck items were great. Many thanks to Dave and to everyone who brought food to share!
The flying competition event this time was to take off, do two loops and two rolls followed by a landing with the plane stopping as close as possible to a tape across the runway. The results were:
Bruce Bumgarner Zagi electric 3 feet 7 inches
Brian Murphy GB Eagle 5 feet 1 inch
Terry Koltes Cherokee 14 feet 9 inches
Wally Bigelow GP Super Sportster 26 feet 1 inch
Dave Walker GB Eagle 43 feet 1 inch
