Everyone reminded about the Spring Picnic

New Park Fields Update - Dave Walker and Mel Colvin

Kinderpark in Potlatch - Joe Bolden, Bruce and Colleen presented talk and planes to kinderpark in Potlatch.

Fuel Orders taken (Wally has the fuel at Hodgins Drug – please pick up your fuel).

PRRCF Spring Picnic Report (Colleen Bumgarner)

The Picnic/BBQ was held Saturday June 26. There were 38 people at the BBQ. Numerous guests and observers and people arriving after work – good turnout – good food – good weather!

Name tags were used this year and everyone seemed to enjoy that feature.

Door Prizes

Thanks to Wally Bigelow at Hodgins Drug we had itms for door prizes plus items for Fun Fly events.

  1. P-51 kit – won by member Logan Ownbey (r/c student of Joe Bolden).
  2. Roll of purple Monokote – Bob Boettcher
  3. Ladies Drawing of nested baskets and magnetic note pad won by Audrey Ownbey.
  4. $20 gift certificate won by Brude Bumgarner (voted at April meeting after the mall show)

Fun Fly Events

Climb and Glide (climb for one minute and longest glide until forced to land)

  1. Dave Hagelganz 3:48 min – five minute epoxy
  2. Bobby Godwin 3:34 min – soft engine mount
  3. John Sawyer 3:28 – air filter

Spot Landing – takeoff, roll, loop and spot landing (not timed)

  1. Don Hicks 6 inches – hand fuel pump
  2. Dave Hagelganz 19 ¼ inches – super glue and kicker
  3. Don Hart 19 ½ inches – screw driver set

A great time had by all!
