Harry Evans brought
the wing for his new Elusive 3D
plane built from his own plans - very light weight and colorful. It will have
large tip plates.
Larry Bobisud showed his Cessna
O-1 “Bird Dog” scale electric plane. It has a very interesting shock
absorbing landing gear using rubber band “bungees”.
“Free to a good home.” Bruce Bumgarner
brought a control line DC-3/C-47 –
he’s looking for someone to take it off his hands.
Wally Bigelow brought
the vertical fin and rudder of the TopFlite Stinson 1/5 scale kit he is building.
Very nice job Wally! At this rate, Wally says he should have it flying in a
couple of years (just kidding). Wally also brought a Hanger 9 F6F Hellcat ARF. He’s planning to power it with a Saito
100. It is all laser cut with a 64.5 inch span, dummy
engine, and rotating retracting landing gear. All control linkages are internal.
It has a three piece wing. It’s a very nice scale ARF plane for $269.
