New Business

Thursday Evening Flying Sessions

With the start of daylight savings time (DST), it is time to think about flying Thursday evenings (weather permitting). The days are getting longer and DST means there is another hour of daylight in the evenings. Keep an eye on the weather and join us at Sawyer Field for some great flying.

Club Web Site

It was moved and seconded that the club pay the web site ISP fees and pay for registration of a new domain name - passed. Jerry Becker was charged with getting and setting up "PalouseFlyers.org" as the new domain name. Don Hart showed a demo of a new club web site look-and-feel.

Meeting adjourned.

Thanks to Colleen Bumgarner for her meeting notes.

Demonstrations

Jerry Becker showed a short video from the DVD "Fly Boys" called "The Life of a Miniature Stunt Pilot " narrated by the "pilot" of the WWI models used for special effects in the movie - planes crashing and burning and crashing and burning… Very entertaining.

Bruce Bumgarner opened the box for the "Stryker" to show us the electric powered plane to be the raffle prize at the mall show.

A big-bird fly in was scheduled at the Spokane Barons flying field at Deer Park.

The NW Model Expo has been rescheduled for March 24-25.
