Old Business

Flying Report

Jerry Becker reported that turnout at Sawyer Field on Thursday evenings and Sundays have been excellent. Lots of flyers and flying!

Dave Walker and Joe Bolden have been flying at the old Potlatch mill site - take care to NOT fly over houses and the nearby park. Be a good citizen and fly to the south and east of the runway. Park on the north side of the runway.

Harry Evans reported that his Fusion (Harry's own design) suffered aileron flutter, losing the covering from the bottom of one wing.

Spring Picnic and Fun Fly

The PRRCF spring picnic and fun fly scheduled for Saturday June 23 - potluck BBQ begins at noon, fun fly events should start about 1:30pm.

Safety Benches Update

The safety bench is being used at flying sessions. It works extremely well for tail draggers, but needs some changes to handle planes with tricycle gear. Suggested improvements include a shelf to hold a starter battery and a radio transmitter.

New Business

Members are reminded to clean up when you fly! Also, announce takeoffs and landings when others are flying. Safety First!

Meeting adjourned.

Thanks to Colleen Bumgarner for her meeting notes.

Demonstrations

Harry Evans showed his 25CC weed eater engine.

Jerry Becker brought his Hacker B50XL in runner (a "90" size brushless motor) and Castle Creatiions Phoenix 85 ESC. These will be used on a U-Can-Do 60 ARF.

Don Kolb showed his Kadet Senior in WSU Cougar colors. It is powered with a Saito 65.
