Colleen Bumgarner reported that the winner of the Striker airplane was Scott Philipp from Pullman. He came to pick it up when Colleen called him. In the model vote first place was Jerry Becker's SE5A electric plane. The winner of second place was Randy Sexton's Gaint Stinger. There was a tie for third place: Mel Colvin's Vans RV3 and Sam Sorem's 1/5 scale Spitfire.

We sold $213.00 dollars of raffle tickets with another $5.00 left to collect. The model cost $134.00 so a profit so far of $79.00.

 Safety Bench

Randy Sexton suggested that we build a safety bench (or two) for starting planes. He brought plans for a simple, sturdy bench that should make starting our planes safer and easier on knees and backs. Randy gave the materials list to Bertle Spence and Gary Wright. Jerry Becker will check with John Sawyer about storage options.

Meeting adjourned.

Thanks to Colleen Bumgarner for her meeting notes.

Demonstrations

We viewed a portion of the Monokote Covering video – "Covering a Fuselage". Most of the video was viewed in "fast forward" mode with an occasional pause for questions and discussion.
