Announcements

The Lewiston club fun fly and swap meet is scheduled for Saturday June 21. Ten dollar landing fee includes lunch.

Flying Reports

Dave Walker went to visit his son in Virginia. They flew a Park Zone T-28 Trojan. Dave says it's a good flyer.

Keith Hendriksen has been flying at a local farm on stubble. Keith is an experienced builder currently flying an original design electric powered balsa Spitfire. It is 40 size and uses a recycled trainer wing.

John Sawyer and Don Hart flew at the Lewiston club field at Mann Lake.

Jerry Becker and Don Hart flew at Sawyer Field on the most recent nice Thursday evening.

Old Business


Fuel Order

Jerry Becker got a good price on fuel for those who put in orders.  B&B had only limited stock, so Jerry tried Hobby Town. He had better luck there, with good selection and a good deal.

The minimum order to get a real break on price at B&B is 8 cases.

Spring Picnic and Fun Fly

Harry Evans says the fun fly events will be a "surprise" - we suspect that the final decision on events had not been made.

Flying Site Investigation

Jerry Becker checked out the old Latah county landfill upper transfer station site and thought it looked good as a flying site. Joe Bolden did not know if that area was available. Joe suggested that a few people at a time take a look at the site. Joe and Dave Walker will try to track down further information on site ownership.

Safe Flying Reminder

Joe Bolden related a story about a r/c helicopter accident that could have been fatal. Remember - safety first! Don't fly alone!

Jerry Becker showed his Multiplex "Twister" ARF. Jerry got the molded foam electric powered ducted fan jet from Tower Hobbies using a $35 off coupon. This is another of the elapor foam models from Multiplex.
