Notes from the Last Meeting:

The meeting was held at the Jack-in-the-Box in Moscow. Called to order by Jerry Becker President.

Minutes from the last meeting were read and accepted.

Treasurer report:  $1867.14 

No quorum so could not vote on anything.

Announcements

Dues are due!

New club cards and a new club flyer were distributed.

The Orrin Crooks Memorial glider meet, a PRRCF hosted event, is scheduled for May 9th & 10th at Mann's Lake Field in Lewiston

Lewiston club has been notified about the Super Bowl Snow Fly, BBQ and swap meet.

Flying, Christmas Presents and Building Reports

Jerry Becker received a framed painting "Spitfire" by Barrie Clark. Jerry had a picture of the painting there to show.

Bob Boettcher reported that he has his big 102" wingspan plane ready to fly again after many mishaps.

Harry Evans received a Blade MCX Helicopter and had it at the meeting.

Old Business

Super Bowl Snow Fly

The annual Super Bowl Snow Fly is scheduled for Saturday January 31 with the potluck beginning at noon.

Jerry Becker will get all the food items necessary for BBQ and Bruce and Colleen will get all the pop. And some ice.

 Club Mall Show

Joe Bolden has set dates and requested to have 22 tables. set up the March 26th and show 27th and 28th some confusion about doing on Sun. Last year mall closed on Sun. as it was Easter no conflicts this year have to ask Joe if we have it on Sun.

We decided we did not need a vote - Jerry Becker will purchase a Helicopter same as Harry's to raffle at the Mall Show. The second prize will be the Venus Power PLane.

Demonstrations

 Jerry Becker had an ARF Venus which needed all the finishing touches. Much to his dismay, and most of all his wife's "don't bring it back home", no one was able to take it of the 4 club members there. Suggested to ask Joe Bolden to finish it believe he has plane like it.

Harry Evans flew his Blade MCX around the room. Harry has gotten really good flying it. He fixed up a light weight small car and can pick that up off table.  

Upcoming Events

 Super Bowl Snowfly
ID
Saturday before Super Bowl - January 31, 2009. This is an annual event held at Sawyer Field on the Saturday before Super Bowl. Though we always hope for snow to fly from, the weather does not always cooperate. However, since this is a potluck event, there is plenty of good food. Videos, demonstrations of engines and models, as well as indoor and outdoor RC flying are possible activities. There will be a swap meet this year.
