Don Hart and Mike Marsh have been flying off the snow at the Mann Lake field near Lewiston.
The Sass boys were able to get in some flying a couple of weeks before the meeting.
Mark Scarborough and Rob Smith did trim flights on Rob's new control line plane.
Lucas Sass showed the uncovered fuselage framework for his original scale aerobatic 3D plane. All the parts are hand cut, but look like they were laser cut. A great example of workmanship.
Tyler Sass showed the uncovered airframe of his Goldberg J-3 Cub. He bought the kit from a call-in radio show.
Don Hart is making slow progress on his aerotow tug.
Elmer Carlson has finished a new LT-40 trainer. It is powered with a Saito 45. Elmer is starting on rebuilding a crashed LT-40.
Joe Bolden is working on mounting a snow blower on a new tractor [maybe he'll use the time he saves not shoveling snow to build a plane].Mark Scarborough has the wing and tail mounted on the fuselage of his new CL stunter. Wing fillets and other details need to be done. Mark showed the plans for a 80's vintage RC pattern plane called the Aurora. Mark is converting theAurora plans to CAD so he can get laser cut parts. He also showed the E-Flite electric retracts he plans to install.
