Announcements

Orrin Crooks Memorial Glider Meet is scheduled for May 12-13 at the Mann Lake field near Lewiston.

Lewis-Clark Memorial Fun Fly is scheduled for May 19 at the Mann Lake field near Lewiston.

Lewis-Clark Aerotow is scheduled for June 2-3 at the Mann Lake field.

Bertle Spence had hip replacement surgery. The club sent a get-well card.

Mike Marsh is moving back to California. He is having a yard April 7-8. Sale items include RC planes and power tools.

Flying/Building Reports

Phil Tallman reported that the two Cubs are still in progress. Phil has been flying indoors at Asotin and float flying on a puddle at Leroy Johnson's field south of Pullman.

Steve Overley is working on getting ARF war bird models ready to fly. Steve has been flying indoors at Asotin and outdoors at Mann Lake.

Elmer Carlson reported that the Crackerjack he's building from magazine plans is making some progress.

Don Hart has been flying indoors at Asotin and outdoors at Mann Lake. Don is working on a 30cc YAK 54 he bought at the Spokane swap meet. The model came with servos and fuel system. Don is installing a DLE 30cc gas engine.

Mark Scarborough won best finish awards (pilot's choice and appearance judges) at the Tucson Vintage CL Stunt event. The high altitude affected engine tuning and how Mark's original design Avenger flew. Mark finished with a respectable place in a very stellar list of competitors, including some of the grand old men of CL stunt.

Old Business

Mall Show Report

Mark Scarbourough won the Slow Stick raffle prize and an engraved cup for best of show with his Avenger CL stunt model. Randy Sexton won the helicopter raffle prize. The raffle brought in $237. Another $105 came in from hat and shirt sales. There was a very good turnout of planes on display and club members to man the show.

Potlatch Mill Site

The runway at the Potlatch Mill site need cracks filled.

Program

Phil Tallman showed the Mini Ultra Stick he bought at the Spokane swap meet. It has a 450 outrunner and six servos. The wing has both ailerons and flaps programmed for crow mode.
