Old Business

Mall Show Planning

The mall show will be a one day event scheduled for Saturday April 27. Set up will begin at 8am and take down will be when we're ready to call it a day. Jerry Becker has pledged a Cessna ARF for the raffle. The TV and DVD will be set up to show videos. Other ideas were to have swap/sale table(s), and club flyers and business cards to hand out.. Colleen Bumgarner will take care of getting insurance and the agreement with the mall for the event.

Program

Mark Scarborough showed carbon fiber tissue, a 0.2 oz/sq yard non-woven fabric used  to build laminated structures such as formers. It is also used to strengthen balsa sheeted surfaces and create a smooth surface for paint. The tissue can be applied using nitrate dope or automotive clear coat. Carbon fiber tissue is available from Aerospace Composite Products.
