Welcome to Ric-O-Shades.  We produce vintage "Heirloom" lamps and shades.  We consider what we do as restoration and art, with each piece being one-of-a-kind. Whenever possible antique fabrics, embroidery, crochet, buttons, lace or jewelry are incorporated into the pieces (an example is #011— the shade front is displaying an art deco celluloid and glass button). All fringe designs are hand beaded with glass beads and designed specifically for each shade.

 We repair and rewire all lamps using reproduction wire, plugs and any other parts necessary to make them safe for you or your customer’s use. In addition we provide:

        1) Supply you with lampshades only.  Each shade presented is unique and can not be exactly reproduced as pictured .  

        2) Design a special shade for your heirloom lamp from a photograph and the measurements of your lamp.
