Hoop shade
This shade is made from wooden hoops and beads blended to catch a certain hue and texture. The bead blend utilizes 9 different types of glass seed and bugle beads. This shade fits on a standard 10" glass globe of an antique floor lamp. The bead strands are 8-11" long.

Allison
A tone-on-tone effect is created by layering the Allison with antique white lace curtain material over beige solid fabric. This effect becomes stronger when the bulb is lit, showing the leaf and flower pattern of the lace. The fabric is trimmed with dusty pink gimp on the large petals and matching antique white gimp on the smaller petals. The large and small petals display two different bead patterns, designed from 9 different types of variously shaped glass beads. The bead strands are 3" long. This shade is 16" in dia. and 10" in height including the beads, making it a suitable size for a table lamp.

Tulip
This frame is layered with dusty pink moiré faille under antique white curtain lace. The top and bottom edges are trimmed with antique braid of green and dusty pink. The struts are finished off with dusty pink gimp. The beading is 5 different colors and shapes of glass beads. The strands are 3" long. The shade measures 13" in dia. and 14" tall including the beads, making it ideal for table lamps.

Drum
The "Jacquard" drapery fabric used on this shade is a quiet pattern when unlit and a bold pattern when lit. A single layer of braid trims along the top edge and a double layer of matching braids, trims the bottom edge. The bead pattern scallops around a loop in the bottom trim. The bead fringe is created from a combination of 8 different types of glass beads. The diameter of the drum is 13" at the top and 15" at the bottom. The height is 12" plus 1" to 2.5" of beads. This shade fits a standard floor lamp 10" dia glass globe.

Scallop Drum
This is a standard size 1930-40's floor lamp that is antique white metal with shading in the relief areas. The shade is a drum with scalloped top and bottom rings. The fabric is a tone-on-tone brocade with matching gimp and contrasting piping. The bronze glass beadwork follows the scalloping edge of the bottom ring.

Scallop Shell
This is an Anchor Hocking Glass Co. Royal Ruby "Old Cafe" depression glass lamp. Only a few pieces were produced between 1938 and 1940. The shade frame is covered with a "Jacquard" white fabric, then the center and small sections are layered with an antique machine lace. The top and bottom edges and two long center struts are trimmed with antique hand crocheted pink and white ric-rack. The 3" beaded fringe is created from 6 different types of glass beads. The finial is topped with an antique brass and glass button. The shade is asymmetrical and measures 7" x 13" wide x 9" tall including the beads. This is a small table lamp that stands 1 1/2 ft tall.

Kathryn
This peach ceramic lamp dawns from the 1930's. It has a flower decal on the front and hand painted gold trim on the handles and around the base. The lampshade is an 8-section symmetrical frame; 4 large and 4 small. The large sections are double layered with pleated peach tulle over beige crinkle fabric. The trimmings are over-dyed peach gimp and blue piping. The small sections have a paisley brocade layered with peach tulle and trimmed with blue antique hand crocheted lace. The large and small sections display two different bead patterns created from 7 different types of glass beads. This table lamp stands 2' tall. *Unique feature- a slight backward slumping occurred when the ceramic was fired.

Mini Provincial
This cute little shade is covered with two antique fabrics. One is a brocade curtain and the other is a hand embroidered tea towel. Each section is trimmed with hand crocheted antique lace. The bead fringe is created from 7 different colors and shapes of glass beads. This asymmetrical shade measures 6''x 9'' wide and 8'' tall including 1'' of fringe.

Small Crescent Moon
This shade is suitable for a small plain lamp. The shade is asymmetrical and measures 4" x 8.5" wide and 12" tall including the beads. The broad flat sections, displaying the crescent moon shape, are double layered with white fabric under antique machine lace. The layering creates a tone-on-tone effect. When the bulb is lit, this effect becomes stronger, displaying the diamond pattern of the lace. The circular inset sections are embellished with an antique button and broach (not showing). The 4" narrow sides of the shade are covered with antique tapestry of dusty pink, royal and gold. The 4" beaded fringe is created from 9 different types of glass beads. The beadwork in the upper curve of the crescent is doubled to conceal the light socket.

Betty
This symmetrical shade is table lamp size, measuring 13" across and 12.5" tall including the beads. In the four small sections, the fabric is moiré faille layered with a wavy machine mesh. The fabric covering the four large sections is moiré faille under antique machine embroidered silk. The embroidered silk was originally a hankerchief. Two different bead patterns are used in the large and small sections creating a continuous triple line effect. Eight different types of glass beads create the 4" and 4.5" strands.

Mini Gothic
This lamp and #015 are made from post prohibition liquor bottles. Inscribed on the bottom of these bottles is: FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE. The Gothic shade is an asymmetrical shape measuring 6" x 9'' in width and 8" tall with the beads. The maroon fabric is from a discarded baccalaureate gown. The lace layered on top of the gown is turn-of-the-century machine mesh lace. Moiré faille is used in the two cat eye sections. Seven different types of glass beads create the 2" beaded fringe. This lamp stands 1.5 ft. tall.

Gothic large
This is a large floor lamp size shade. It is asymmetrical and measures 12.5" x 18" wide and 18" tall with the beads. The shade is covered with two antique fabrics. One is a brocade curtain and the other is a hand embroidered tea towel. The embroidered sections on the front and back of the shade display different embroidery patterns. The bead design changes color as the fringe passes through the different sections on the shade changing from green to crystal to lavendar then back to green. The 4" fringe strands are created from 11 different types of glass beads.

Charleston
The Charleston shade is a mini-size shade, measuring ~ 6" square and 8" tall including the beads. The dusty pink fabric originates from a 1950's prom dress. The four dark green circles are hand embroidered with silk ribbon and embellished with various types of glass beads. Each section is individually unique in design. Five different types of glass beads create the 1" beaded fringe.

Vicki
The Vicki is a mini-size shade that measures 8" wide by 8.5" tall including the beads. It is symmetrical with 4 large and 4 small petals. The fabric in the large petal sections is a peach flower brocade. The small sections have peach fabric over-laid with pleated tulle. The braid trim in the small sections is double layered with looped satin ribbon. The bead pattern of the small sections is doubled to better conceal the bulb socket. The fringe in the large and small sections are of different but complimentary bead patterns. The bead strands are 3.75" to 4" long and consist of 6-7 different types of glass beads.

Lovers Knot
The body of the Lover’s Knot frame is covered with muted celery crepe. On the lower edge of the frame, a dark contrasting antique crepe fabric is used in the eye shaped sections. This dark fabric, purchased in an antique store, is border print strips cut from a larger piece of material. The finishing touch is 2” rayon fringe. This lampshade, measuring 18” across and 13” tall with the fringe, is well suited for a table lamp.

Aviva
The Aviva is an asymmetrical mini-size shade that measures 6”x 9” wide and 9” tall including the 2.5” beaded fringe. It is covered with a cobalt/violet silk shantung on the sides. The upper white sections are covered with a square dot faille, while the larger central sections are double layered shantung and striped organza. The fringe consists of quartz crystal and 8 different kinds of Czech glass beads. The antique wall mounted lamp is made of pressed clear glass.

Taylor
The Taylor is a table lamp size shade measuring 14" wide and 10.5" tall including the 2" rayon fringe. The main portion of the frame is covered with dusty pink shantung and the lower track is filled with a darker pink tone-on-tone tapestry. Self gimp made from the shantung trims the vertical struts. Dusty pink gimp trims the top ring and the upper outline of the track. The top and bottom rings of the shade are further embellished with ivory crocheted lace.

Gaslight
The Gaslight is designed with matching fabrics from the Taylor. It is a small shade measuring 11" wide and 10.5" tall with 2" of rayon fringe. The vertical struts are double trimmed with self gimp and narrow dark pink/gold braid. The top ring is trimmed with matching dusty pink gimp and the bottom ring is accented with the 1/8" pink/gold braid.

Southwest
The Southwest is a medium size,symmetrical shade measuring 15" wide 12" tall with the fringe. The main topaz fabric is a nubby textured curtain material accented with matching braid gimp and contrasting teal piping. Because of the unusual shape of this shade with it's many changes of angle in and out, up and down the beading surface measures 7 feet in length. There are 418 strands of 3 inch fringe created from 9 different kinds of Czechoskovakian glass beads.

Le Elegance

Le Elegance is a large shade measuring 21” across the bottom and 14.5” high with the 4” beaded fringe. This shade was designed for a very elegant brass turn-of-the-century floor lamp. It’s subtle tan brocade revials a beautiful scallopping pattern when the light is turned on. The struts are double self gimped and the top and bottom rings are trimmed in braid. The 197 strands in the fringe are comprised of 3 different kinds of seed beads accenting 5 different larger focus beads, all made of Czech glass.

Canopy
The Canopy is a small headboard hung lampshade measuring 13” x 5”. The main body is covered with a soft yellow shantung that is contrasted with white shantung in the large center oval. The oval is trimmed with a braided white gimp while the body is double trimmed in a self gimp. This shade is fully lined.

Dede 1

The Dede I is one of a pair designed to go together but not to be identical. They are both cut corner rectangle frames measuring 6 x 8” on the top and 10 x 12” on the bottom. The height is 9” plus 3” fringe on Dede I and 2.5” on Dede 2. These shades are for a small/ meduim size table lamp. Each shade is covered with a rose/ tan wrinkle rayon that is self gimped on the side struts, top and bottom rings. Both rings are then further embellished with a braided trim. A bead blend of 8 different colors, sizes and shapes of seed beads is randomly strung together with 7 different specifically placed focus beads. The 102 strands of Dede I is an alternating pattern of X (crosses) and a single hung strand. The two small side panels have a beaded mesh accenting the top ring.

Dede 2

The Dede 2 is identical to the Dede I except for the bead work. The same bead blend was used randomly with 6 specifically placed focus beads to create a mesh fringe of (98) 2.5” strands. The two small side panels of this shade are embellished with a petite scalloping pattern.
