Austen Sass reported a maiden flight that ended in a crash due to reversed ailerons. He has a Thunder Tiger Windstar glider under construction.
Mark Scarborough nearly lost his original design Avenger CL pattern plane in strong winds when the engine died at a bad time. He won 3rd place in Classic, 2nd place in Advanced and 2nd place in Profile at the event.
Dave Walker flew at the Potatch mill site. The runway looks good with a few small cracks that need attention.
Mark Scarbourough reported that he crashed his RC Sukhoi, but the engine and radio are okay.
Tyler Sass has a Goldberg Aniversary J-3 Cub kit under construction. Wingspan is 76 inches.
Don Hart reported that the long awaited Byron Pipe Dream is nearing completion. It will be powered initially with a DLE 30cc gas engine. When the DLE 30 finds a new home, an older (and heavier) 35cc engine will replace it.

Jerry Becker has checked with B&B Hobbies in Spokane on pricing for airplane packages with 2.4 GHz radios, but he was not at the meeting to give details.
Spring BBQ Report
The turnout was less than expected, probably because of the unfavorable weather forecast. However, the weather was fine with lots of flying and fun was had by all present. We had balloon busting, paintball shooting and lots of goodies to eat. Thanks to Dave Walker, primo burger chef. Don Hart won the lucky hand poker with four of a kind (three 7's and a joker). Don donated the prize, a Kyosho Minium Piper Cherokee 4 channel RTF, to the Sass boys.
No new business.
